\u201cAt His Most Gracious Majesty’s pleasure\u201d wurde im September 2022 im Palacio del Conde de Aranda in \u00c9pila aufgenommen und widmet sich jener Musik, die mit gro\u00dfer Wahrscheinlichkeit am Hofe Friedrichs II des Gro\u00dfen von Preu\u00dfen, erklang.<\/span><\/p>\n

In umstrittener Staatsmann, der die Grundlagen des preu\u00dfischen Staates \u2014 des Keims des heutigen Deutschlands \u2014 legte, Friedrich der Gro\u00dfe war nicht nur ein kriegerischer Herrscher mit beispiellosen expansionistischen Ambitionen im Europa seiner Zeit, sondern auch ein feinsinniger Fl\u00f6tist, der es verstand, sich an seinem Berliner Hof mit den besten Musikern und Komponisten der Epoche zu umgeben. Dort dienten unter vielen anderen Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, Johann Joachim Quantz und Carl Heinrich Graun. Dar\u00fcber hinaus widmeten Komponisten wie Johann Sebastian Bach oder Friedrich Wilhelm Marpurg Werke herausragenden Mitgliedern des Hofes. Georg Philipp Telemann wiederum wurde vielfach von Quantz bewundernd erw\u00e4hnt, der seine Verehrung f\u00fcr den Magdeburger Komponisten zum Ausdruck brachte \u2014 jenen, der \u00fcber Jahrzehnte hinweg als der bedeutendste Komponist Deutschlands galt.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cIncipit lamentatio\u201d wurde im Juli 2023 in Zaragoza im Saal Luis Galve des Auditorio de Zaragoza aufgenommen und enth\u00e4lt f\u00fcnf unver\u00f6ffentlichte Klagelieder von Francisco Corselli, Maestro der Real Capilla de Madrid zwischen 1738 und 1778.<\/p>\n

Die Klagelieder, die wir f\u00fcr diese Aufnahme ausgew\u00e4hlt haben, stammen aus der Zeit, als Corselli im Dienst von K\u00f6nig Philipp V. und K\u00f6nig Ferdinand VI. stand. Sie zeichnen sich durch eine gro\u00dfe Vielfalt an kompositorischen Mitteln, unterschiedlichen Tempi<\/em> und Instrumentaltechniken aus, wie z. B. Pizzicati<\/em> und die Verwendung von D\u00e4mpfern auf den Streichinstrumenten, die allesamt einer gef\u00fchlvollen Exegese des Textes dienen. Neben den Streichern sind in den Klageliedern oft auch andere Instrumente zu h\u00f6ren, die das Gef\u00fchl der Bedr\u00e4ngnis verst\u00e4rken, wie zum Beispiel die Fl\u00f6ten – in diesem Fall die Querfl\u00f6te – ein Instrument, das eng mit dieser Art von Repertoire verbunden ist, da sein Klang mit dem Traurigen assoziiert wird. In Hinsicht auf den Kompositionsstil ist der Einfluss des Werks von Pergolesi in diesen Klageliedern offensichtlich, insbesondere in seinem Stabat Mater<\/em>, das in ganz Europa weit verbreitet war und von dem eine Kopie im Musikarchiv des K\u00f6nigspalastes in Madrid aufbewahrt wird.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cCristal bello\u201d wurde im Juli 2020 im Palacio del Conde de Aranda in \u00c9pila aufgenommen\u00a0und konzentriert sich auf die geistliche Musik des Spanien und des neuvizek\u00f6niglichen Mexiko des 18. Jahrhunderts.<\/p>\n

Die in dieser Aufnahme eingespielten Komponisten geh\u00f6ren zu einer Generation, die um 1700 geboren wurde. Diese Musiker waren stark von neapolitanischen Tonk\u00fcnstlern wie Leonardo Vinci oder Leonardo Leo beeinflusst, deren Musik in der ersten H\u00e4lfte des 18. Jahrhunderts weite Verbreitung in der gesamten hispanischen Welt fand. Es waren auch eben diese Komponisten, die in Spanien regelm\u00e4\u00dfiger f\u00fcr die Traversfl\u00f6te zu schreiben begannen. Die Fl\u00f6te hielt in den spanischen Ensembles ab 1720-1730 allm\u00e4hlich Einzug, und kurz darauf l\u00e4sst sich ihre Verwendung in den Kapellen Iberoamerikas nachweisen.<\/p>\n

\u201cSpanish Travelling Virtuosi Vol. 1\u201d wurde im Oktober 2018 im Palacio del Conde de Aranda in \u00c9pila aufgenommen und ist der erste Teil einer Reihe, die La Guirlande ver\u00f6ffentlicht, um die spanische Musik des 18. Jahrhunderts einem breiteren Publikum bekannt zu machen.<\/p>\n

\u201cSpanish Travelling Virtuosi\u201d nimmt dabei besonders Musik in den Fokus, deren Komponisten allesamt als herausragende Virtuosen ihres Intruments angesehen wurden. Dar\u00fcberhinaus waren diese Musiker Reisende, die in den musikalischen Zentren Europas ihrer Zeit spielten und, wo immer sie auftraten, enthusiastisches Lob und Bewunderung ernteten.<\/p>\n

Das Album enth\u00e4lt Kompositionen von der Gebr\u00fcder Pla, Joaqu\u00edn Nicol\u00e1s Xim\u00e9nez Brufal, Giacomo Facco, Felipe Lluch und Joan Cabanilles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
