Its repertoire focuses on 18th and 19th century music in which the flute plays a fundamental role: from the flute sonata – with harpsichord or pianoforte, as well as with basso continuo – to the solo concerto, including all kinds of chamber music combinations. Furthermore, the use of original instruments or replicas of them, as well as a rigorous historical study of performance practice through different treatises and sources, mark the main objective of La Guirlande: to achieve a performance of the repertoire as close as possible to the original idea of each of the composers.<\/p>\n
